When Fans Worry Me…
What happens when fans/youth/etc take their fandom too far? What are some relevant issues brought up about this insane video? (Sorry, insane isn’t very impartial, is it?) What are some unique observations (other than the obvious of ‘Whoa’)? What will be the result of tomorrow’s kids being able to express themselves UNFILTERED online?
This can affect:
* Social relationships
* Family interaction
* Jobs (and future jobs)
* Public scorn/embarrassment
* The inability to reclaim a part of yourself that you’ve unleashed on the world…
I remember hearing something about certain tribes/cultures/people of the world being wary of having their photo taken for fear of soul stealing…
After watching this video, I can’t help but realize that perhaps such a theory DOES in fact have a chance to be real. This video should be shown at schools & to families with teens online… what unfiltered UGC can look like in the hands of the troubled.
Perhaps Vanessa Hudgens can host some sort of school vid for tech classes based on Do’s & Do Not’s in the world wide web (and beyond– thank you Cell phones)
